Databyte returns with his annual October full album drop. Mostly a compilation of tracks previously released as singles on his Soundcloud, along with a few extras, and now available in a full package on all major streaming services. Even though many of the tracks were released throughout the year, October is definitily the most suiting month for this dark and psychedelic album. The title of the album and artwork adequately help convey the sorts of atmospheres you can expect on this release, with spooky and haunting melodies and deep and dark sounds (verging on the industrial) present throughout pretty much all of it. Danceable rhythms, extra-dimensional pulsating synth sounds, and larger then life baselines make up a good chunk of the sound domination, however he does not forget to add lush atmospheric soundscapes and cinematic style transition to keep the emotional depth of his songs at a caliber far above most in the Synthwave genre. The mastercraft jampacked release features everything you know and love from your electrobreaks inspired producer; with some of the most progressive and multi-dynamic sound choices in the genre, and definitily the strongest output from his home state of North Carolina, this is not an album to be missed.
