Fresh Trax! : BESS - Techno Hell

Dishing up a cold hard post-punk / electro-industrial / spoken word poetry fusion that reminds me of more esoteric post-rave work of Meat Beat Manifesto combined with the art house experimentalia of The Art Of Noise. Wild and off-kilter basslines pulse and screech, noisy guitars scrape and squeal, and the drums keep progressively shifting in a semi-frantic way, but manage to keep mostly consistency in their 4/4 stomps, with BESS's sardonic poetry as always cutting through like a sly smirk.
