Presenting us with a fun and flighty little dandy of a track, Catgotwasted returns again with another excellent brew of his unique blend of IDM-influenced dronetronica. Really stripping things back to some trippy post-techno percussion, bizarre and consuming ambient washes, and strangely uplifting synthesizer melodies, "One Thousand Years" provides an oddly soothing combination of sounds that creates an atmosphere that is somewhere in between droning and soothing.
